Led by our crazy leader (above), we began with a team meeting... and of course tea and cake. We discussed the farms progress and brainstormed ideas for material sourcing, what we should grow and event ideas. We then split into two teams. One, dismantling more pallets, and the other constructing some planters.
Thanks to the brilliant turn out from the team and the continuing support from the EPC workshop we made great progress, getting us a big step closer to completing phase 1 of the mini farm!
Despite the generosity of companies and individuals around Portsmouth we are still on the hunt for as many pallets as possible! With each planter requiring roughly 11 pallets to be fully constructed (including casualty planks) ...we are also working on a genius idea to use up the off-cuts?!
